Golightly-a-Go-Go (Room #14) close window
We love how the color of the acid-etched glass walls of the bath and shower match the Tiffany blue walls perfectly in this room. It was one of those design surprises that make us oh so happy. You can kind of see how the Tiffany tile sparkles in this photo, but you'll just have to see it in person to get the real effect. And what are those weird shapes in the vessel sink? Why, it's a photo of Fifth Avenue superimposed into the glass, of course. What you don't see in this photo is a large framed movie still of Audrey from a scene in Breakfast at Tiffany's where she's looking into the Tiffany's window. A crystal chandelier is part of what she's looking at. We found a similar chandelier for the room and put it above the bed. Other room amenities include mood lighting on dimmer switches, flat screen TV, microwave, DVD player, refrigerator, coffee machine with Gevalia coffe, WiFi, telephones with voicemail, Godiva Chocolates, pillowtop mattresses, 100% Egyptian Cotton linens, luxury bathroom amenities, and free continental breakfast.
We wanted this room to be like sleeping in one big Tiffany’s blue box - with a little bit of the Tiffany 5th Ave Flagship store thrown in for elegance. We tried to figure out how to wrap a big white bow around the whole room, but it was looking weird so we canned it. This is the perfect room for making a proposal of marriage. What you can't tell from the photo is how amazing this Tiffany-blue glitter glass mosaic tile is. It sparkles like diamonds. Holly Golightly loves it. She stays here frequently. This room adjoins into #15 'The Partridge Nest.' Both have one pillowtop queen-size bed.   Instructions: click on the "back" or "next" buttons to scroll through the photo series.
