Kitchenette 6 (Room #9) close window

If you've been perusing room photos on this website, we're sure that you've learned by now that we are absolutely giddy about anything shiny and sparkly. Kitchenette #6 is no exception. The round shiny metallic magenta circles in the fabrics in this room are a bit reminiscent of a disco ball, but without the spinning. Yes, the room is a little on the pink side, but manly-men, do not be afraid, just tell your friends the room was magenta and black with an enourmous flat screen TV. Manly, yes, and they'll like it too.View of the wall and TV while lying in the king-size bed. You can't tell from the photo how large the TV is, but trust us, it's el grande. 42 inches to be exact. Not shown here is the kitchenette area - it has all the same stuff that the other kitchenettes have. The Kitchenette #6 bathroom needed to feel different from the bathroom of its fraternal twin/distant cousin Kitchenette #4, so we added a big square of the lime-green glass mosaic tile to its bathroom wall. We love it during the late winter months when we start feeling green deprivation. You know, it ain’t easy bein green…Finding lime green crystals to put in this chandelier was not an easy task. But oh was it worth the effort. The green color tied in perfectly with the other greens in the room. And when things match, we can rest, and hopefully you will too. When things don't, then, well, life is painful and hard and anything but restful.
