  • Plattekill Mountain Biking ::  Website 
    Plattekill is one of the leading mountain biking centers in the world. ESPN frequently airs races that take place at the resort and National magazines including Bike, Velo News and Mountain Bike Action have rated the resort as "one of the top 100 places to ride in the world." We can arrange to have Plattekill drop off bikes for you right here at your front door at The Roxbury. And if you're not a total thrillseeker, you can also use the bikes for the Catskill Scenic Trail mentioned below. The kind folks at Plattekill will even pick you up at the end of the trail if you don't feel like making the trek back to The Roxbury.

    This 19 mile trail offers a hard-packed surface that makes it perfect for hiking, biking, horseback riding and cross country skiing. A unique feature of this trail is its very gentle grade. Young and old will find this an easy and enjoyable trek - through some downright gosh darn gorgeous countryside. And you can access the trail just about a mile outside the village of Roxbury!
